Polyanionic Cell LV (PAC LV)
Polyanionic Cell LV (PAC LV)
Polyanionic Cellulose Low Viscosity (PAC LV) is an anionic cellulose-based polymer used as a drilling fluid additive in water-based mud systems for effective fluid loss control while maintaining minimal impact on mud viscosity.
PAC LV functions by forming a thin, tight, and resilient filter cake along the wellbore wall, thereby reducing filtrate invasion into the formation. This mechanism helps preserve formation permeability, enhance wellbore stability, and minimize risks of formation damage and differential sticking.
